At the September 22nd event, the PDC presented the BC Rehab Foundation with a donation of $1,785. BC Rehab supports people with disabilities, many of whom are victims of auto accidents. |

Yokohama Tire Canada announces new consumer Web site
Vancouver, British Columbia - Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc. has announced a new consumer Web site, containing product information, tire knowledge and an action game. The bilingual site can be reached at www.yokohama.ca.
The site includes a "tire finder" application to help determine which tire suits a car, a guide to local retailers, and downloadable forms to take advantage of special product rebates, as well as branded merchandise and company news.

PDC is pleased to support the UBC Athletics Millennium Scholarship Fundraising Breakfast 2001. This will be held at 7.15am on February 28th 2001 at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre. The Thunderbird Millennium Scholarship Endowment Fund supports UBC athletes through the provision of Varsity Scholarships. No limit is imposed on this package and members can have multiple 3 for 2 race deals each visit. |

PDC will be participating in the annual Pacific International Auto & Light Truck Show held at the BC Place Stadium from March 31st to April 7th 2001. Show hours are 12pm to 10pm daily except Sunday, 12pm to 6pm. PDC needs 30 members to volunteer time (approximately 5 hrs) to man our display booth. Volunteers are entitled to a dedicated exhibitors pass as well as participation in a “special draw” through which 2 complimentary track vouchers will be awarded. Effective 1st April 2001, members of affiliate clubs will no longer be given a 50% discount on PDC membership fees. Thus PDC members wishing to join or renew at the affiliate discounted rate of $20, must do so by 31st March 2001. From 1st April onwards, membership fees for the year 2001 shall be standardised to $40 (US$28) per member. |
