Hi, Brian,

My Lotus came with Yokohama A048’s. I’ve found them to be pretty good, both on the street and on the track. They’re soft, so they wear quicker than typical tires, but the traction I get everywhere is great. For me, I’d rather have the traction everywhere and live with quicker wear than go with normal street tires and suffer at the track. I tell myself it’s a safety issue - more traction means I can handle an emergency maneuver better on the street (sure, the odds I’ll need that are slim, but it helps me justify the $400/tire better *laughs*).

I would look into the Falken Azenis’. I have had very good luck with these in the past, They have good road manners, are not noisey on the street, have great wear and are really good on the track if you do not abuse them!
