Do I need to join as a member to participate in PDC events?
YES (ref. Membership)
 
How do I register for an event?
You can either register online (secure) thru our website or download registration form and fax it to 604-298-5510. Payment by either Visa/MC or check (ref. Events Registration).
 
Do I get a refund if I can't make it to the event?
Refer club rules (Event Payment / Cancellation).
 
What kind of vehicles are permitted?
Refer club rules (Permitted Vehicles).
 
Is Vehicle Inspection required for every event?
Vehicle Inspection is required according to PDC Inspection Guidelines when a member is participating in his/her first PDC event of each season. Inspection requirements vary with different host clubs organizing the events. Refer to event schedule for details. (ref. Vehicle Safety & Tech Inspection)
 
Do I register with the First Timer white group if I have prior experience?
Yes. A seperate check-ride will be arranged during the second session of the event to determine the appropriate run group based on your skill level.
 
Can I loan or rent driver safety gear for the event?
No rentals. With the exception of loaner helmets available to first time participants at PDC hosted events, participants must be equipped with their own safety gear according to the requirements of their run group (ref. Driver Safety Equipment).
 
What time must I arrive at the event?
You must arrive by 7.15am for on-track tech inspection for PDC hosted events.
 
Do I get a refund if I fail on-track tech inspection?
No and you'll not be allowed to participate as a driver. You're welcome to participate as a volunteer though. (ref. Local Events).
 
How much track time do I get?
Participants generally get 100 minutes (4 x 25min sessions) of track time for PDC hosted events. First time novice participants receive an additional 1 hour of theory session.
 
Will passing be permitted on the track?
Yes in accordance with our passing instructions and designated passing zones.
 
Is there instruction available?
YES. Participants are assigned with in-car Instructors at various sessions and Instructors are on-call to all participants during the event.
 
Can I take passengers with me on the track?
No. Only instructors are permitted to take passengers on the track.
 
Who are these instructors?
Instructors are from the instructors team of Proformance Racing and PDC certified instructors who have met and surpass the criteria established for coaching high performance advanced driver education.
 
What time does the event normally ends?
Event usually ends by 5pm.
